Māori language week

Kia ora e te whanau,

Nau mai, haere mai ki a wiki o te reo Māori !

Welcome To Māori  language week!

Today I am going to show you a Karakia Tīmatanga  opening prayer. What is a karakia? A karakia  can be described as prayers, blessings, grace or in a more traditional sense – incantations. They are generally used to ensure a favourable outcome to important events and undertakings.

I have  learned that it is difficult to try to say it in māori.

We are learning to write a biography

Malo e lelei  everyone

Today  we had to pick one person and then search for the person when they were born  where they live and when they die.  The person I did was king George Tupou I.

So here is my one for today.

What I know about fractions.

Fractions are about evening them out like when you have a  whole cake then you have to try and make it even for everyone. With fractions  the numbers get higher and harder to solve.
